Valsoft-backed TAG Software Group acquires Chalco from Hyphen-Group
Valsoft's TAG Software Group acquires Chalco, a content operations software platform developed by Italian company Hyphen-Group over 25 years.
Valsoft said its TAG Software Group completed the acquisition of 100% of Chalco, a software platform for managing the full lifecycle of product content and information, from Hyphen-Group. The deal was completed through Chalco Technologies Srl, a newly formed company wholly owned by Valsoft, and marks Valsoft's entry into the content operations market.
Chalco was developed within Hyphen-Group, an Italian company with offices in Affi (Verona), Milan and Lugano, Switzerland, and clients including luxury and retail brands. Hyphen-Group, now renamed Hyphen-Integration, remains the exclusive distribution, consulting and implementation partner for Chalco in Italy and Switzerland. Stefano Righetti, previously head of Hyphen-Group, becomes CEO of Chalco Technologies.
