Emalec acquires Sagarbe to deepen its Spanish presence

Madrid-based facility management firm Sagarbe, with about 50 staff, joins Siparex Midcap-backed Emalec, its first add-on since Siparex's 2024 investment.

Emalec, a multitechnical maintenance group backed by Siparex Midcap, has acquired Sagarbe, a Madrid-based facility management and building services company. It is Emalec's first external growth deal since Siparex Midcap entered its capital in November 2024.

Sagarbe was founded in 2006 and has about 50 employees. It provides facility management, multitechnical maintenance and integrated building management in the Iberian market. Emalec said the deal strengthens its presence in Spain alongside its Catalan subsidiary EMALEC IBERICA and helps it serve large accounts across Europe.

Sagarbe's founding executives remain involved in the project.
