Mubadala Capital-backed Corient acquired FortCay Family Advisory, a Cayman Islands wealth manager and multi-family office. Founded by Billy Harty and Matt Houghton, FortCay serves 14 ultra-high-net-worth families with approximately $2.6 billion in client assets.
Its services include wealth management, estate planning and family office advisory. The acquisition establishes Corient’s presence in the Cayman Islands and extends its services for families with cross-border assets and estate structures.
Corient provides investment management, wealth strategy and family office services through a global partnership. The transaction was announced September 23.
