Corient, the Miami-based RIA owned by Mubadala Investment Company, has acquired Seven Bridges Advisors, a New York-based multi-family office and wealth manager overseeing $4.9 billion in assets under management.

Founded in 2011 by Larry Cohen, the firm serves entrepreneurs, founders, financial services executives, and ultra-high-net-worth families.

Its six partners will become partners of Corient upon closing.

"What drew us to Corient was its partnership structure, which puts collaboration first and gives every client access to the collective expertise of the firm," Cohen said in a statement.

Corient was taken private in 2024 by Mubadala Capital, an alternative asset manager owned by Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Investment Co., and has since made a series of large acquisitions, including Capital Advisors in May 2026, which added $7.8 billion in client assets, and the pending deal for $10.7 billion Bedrock Group with offices in Geneva, London, Monaco, and Lisbon.
