Sterling Investment Partners portfolio company Verdantas has acquired Yu & Associates, a geotechnical, environmental, and civil engineering firm based in Elmwood Park, New Jersey.
Founded in 1992, the firm serves transportation, aviation, public buildings, and resiliency projects throughout New York and New Jersey.
"Yu & Associates is an exceptional cultural and strategic fit for Verdantas," said CEO Jesse Kropelnicki.
The firm's multidisciplinary approach, covering projects from investigation and design through construction monitoring, aligns with Verdantas' integrated service model.
The transaction follows Verdantas' acquisition of PACE Engineers earlier this year, which added capabilities in the Pacific Northwest.
