Siparex-backed Winncare to acquire Montcalm International in UK

Montcalm has been the exclusive UK partner of Canadian manufacturer Umano Medical for more than twenty years and is active in bariatric, falls prevention and mental health segments.

Montcalm generates £2.6 million in revenue. The deal follows Winncare's earlier UK acquisitions of Herida Medical and Five Mobility, and is part of the international growth strategy pursued since Siparex ETI entered the capital in 2021. The companies say it will strengthen Winncare's specialised bed offering in the UK and speed up rental and services through Five Mobility.

Winncare, chaired by Laurent Faugère, designs medical devices for people with reduced mobility and generates close to €160 million in revenue with more than 900 employees. Siparex partners Alexandre Tremblin and investment directors Thomas Oillic and François Bracchi are named in the announcement.
