Siparex sells its stake in Batibig after six years
Siparex ETI is selling its stake in Batibig, a French multi-trade maintenance and building renovation group, after six years backing its founders.
Siparex ETI is selling its stake in Batibig, a French group offering maintenance and renovation services across more than 15 technical specialities. The article says the founders, Charles and Justin Bignon, will continue developing the group alongside Charterhouse Capital Partners.
According to Siparex, revenue rose from EUR 50 million to more than EUR 500 million over six years, and headcount grew from 350 to more than 2,000. The group carries out over 300,000 interventions a year and includes more than 100 family-owned specialist companies.
Growth was driven largely by acquisitions, with more than 100 deals completed since Siparex entered the capital. These extended Batibig's footprint beyond the Ile-de-France region and broadened its service offering.
