Quad-C-backed O6 Environmental acquires Environmental Remediation Contractor

O6 Environmental Holdings, a portfolio company of Quad-C Management, has acquired Environmental Remediation Contractor LLC, a Columbus, Ohio-based provider of environmental remediation, ecological restoration, emergency response and industrial services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Environmental Remediation Contractor was established in 2011 by Chris McGovern, who will continue to lead the business after the acquisition. The deal adds ecological restoration to O6's service offering and extends its geographic reach. Its customers are consulting and engineering firms and end users across commercial, industrial, utility and government markets.

CEO Dan Giesler said the company values people and safety, and McGovern said the two companies share a customer-first approach.
