INVL-backed Galinta to acquire Baltix owner Worldline, an Estonian cereal producer
Estonian cereal producer Worldline, owner of the Baltix brand sold across major Estonian retail chains, is being acquired by Galinta.
INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund said its portfolio company Galinta has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Estonian company Worldline. Galinta is one of the largest buckwheat producers in Europe and a major cereal flakes producer in the Baltics. Worldline makes packaged rice, groats and other cereal products under the Baltix brand.
Galinta CEO Aurimas Taraškevičius said the deal strengthens its position in Estonia and gives it a well-established producer with a brand familiar to consumers, and that it sees synergies in raw material procurement, production and logistics. The company said Baltix is one of the top three brands in its category in Estonia and is sold in all major Estonian retail chains. The acquisition will add about EUR 2.1 million in annual revenue to Galinta, which reported 2025 revenue of EUR 37.9 million.
The fund bought Galinta in February 2024 and, in 2025, Galinta acquired Lithuanian buckwheat groats producer Ekofrisa.
