Flexpoint Ford and Shamrock Capital acquires Podium Entertainment
The transaction includes an Ownership Works partnership that will give all Podium Entertainment employees an ownership stake in the company as it enters its next phase of growth.
Flexpoint Ford and Shamrock Capital acquired Podium Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based independent audiobook publisher representing more than 3,000 authors, from Presidio Investors. GoldState Music joined as a minority investor.
Podium is the audiobook industry’s third-largest publisher, with a catalog that has grown from roughly 1,200 titles in 2019 to more than 15,000 titles and a production team of more than 1,500 narrators.
