The Sterling Group Foundation Fund acquired Slingmax Group, an Aston, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer and distributor of engineered sling and rope solutions used for lifting, pulling and securing applications. The company's vertically integrated brands include Slingmax Rigging Solutions, I&I Sling and Yale Cordage, serving utilities, power generation, civil and transportation infrastructure, aerospace and defense, marine, mining and construction end markets.
Slingmax was previously a portfolio company of River Associates.
