Awesome Motive-backed WPBeginner Growth Fund acquires Drip and Sleeknote
Drip, an email and SMS marketing platform for small businesses, and Sleeknote, a website conversion tool, were acquired by the fund.
WPBeginner Growth Fund, a B2B software investment fund backed by Awesome Motive, has acquired Drip and Sleeknote. Drip is an email and SMS marketing automation platform for small businesses, and Sleeknote is a conversion optimization tool that turns website visitors into subscribers and customers.
Drip serves more than 6,000 brands and integrates with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Stripe and Magento.
Awesome Motive CEO Syed Balkhi said the companies will join the WPBeginner family of brands and that Awesome Motive's in-house email team will build a roadmap with more AI-powered features and closer ties to WPForms and MemberPress. No purchase price was disclosed.
