Knox Lane-backed HCEsquared acquires Interactive Forums

Healthcare network HCEsquared, parent of Dermsquared and CMEsquared, has acquired Interactive Forums, Inc. (IFI). The companies said the deal broadens IFI's capabilities in connecting healthcare professionals with life sciences partners and adds to HCEsquared's portfolio for healthcare engagement.

IFI will continue to be led by its current leadership team. Lucia Stetson, chief operating officer of HCEsquared, said the addition gives partners broader access to expert communities. IFI president Ryan Daufenbach said the combination would create more pathways for clinical thought leaders to engage with industry.

The acquisition was completed with the support of Knox Lane, a growth-oriented investment firm that partnered with HCEsquared in May 2025. IFI has served the life sciences industry for more than 25 years.
