Options Travel, a full-service corporate travel management company with more than three decades of client relationships, has been acquired by Engine, the travel and spend platform backed by Telescope Partners, Blackstone, and Permira.
Options Travel will continue operating independently under its current leadership, and all employees will join Engine post-acquisition.
The transaction is Engine's first and supports the development of a new AI-native online booking tool aimed at modernizing the technology behind travel management companies, where legacy software has lagged.
