Ridgemont Equity Partners has acquired ENTACT, a Chicago-based national provider of environmental remediation, restoration and geotechnical services, forming a platform in the environmental services sector.
The company operates from 18 offices and roughly 50 project sites across the United States, employing about 900 people serving public and private sector clients on complex environmental and infrastructure projects.
Ridgemont plans to expand ENTACT's geographic reach and add complementary capabilities, aiming to build a scaled environmental services platform driven by regulatory mandates and aging infrastructure demand.

The investment follows Ridgemont's recent acquisition of Caring Transitions, a senior move management franchisor, completed with Coogee Bay Partners.
