Ara Partners acquired a majority interest in Bryden Wood, a London-based strategy, design and engineering consultancy. The 300-person firm serves pharmaceutical, low-carbon industrial and data center projects from offices in London, Barcelona, Milan and Athens.

Its approach uses reference designs, standardized systems and off-site manufacturing to make complex facilities easier to replicate. The acquisition follows several years of collaboration: Bryden Wood has worked on design and capital planning for Ara portfolio companies including Sedron, Divert and Utility Global.

Ara will support the consultancy’s growth and expand its work within the firm’s portfolio and across the industrial economy.
