EQT Infrastructure-backed Osmose Europe acquires UK pole testing specialist MP Power

Osmose Europe Ltd. has acquired MP Power Ltd., a UK electricity infrastructure assessment and testing specialist based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. MP Power provides overhead line inspections, wood pole assessments and pole testing services to the UK's electricity distribution network operators.

Osmose Europe's vice president Lee White said MP Power's capabilities are highly complementary to the existing business and extend its overhead line offering, including low clearance defect management and condition assessment of cables attached to distribution poles. MP Power managing director David Curtis said the business would continue to deliver its services within Osmose.

Osmose is a portfolio company of EQT Infrastructure and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with more than 7,000 employees.
