Kinderhook-Backed Eagle Leasing Acquires GoldStar
The Wilmington rental business adds storage containers, trailers and mobile offices to Eagle’s North Carolina network.
Eagle Leasing, a Kinderhook Industries portfolio company, acquired GoldStar Storage Container & Trailer Rentals, a Wilmington, North Carolina-based rental business. Founded in 2019, GoldStar serves contractors, businesses and industrial customers across southeastern North Carolina with storage containers, trailers and office containers.
Owners Leigh Ann Burdick and Patricia Burdick will remain involved during the transition. The acquisition complements Eagle’s existing branches in Charlotte and Raleigh.
Eagle is seeking additional portable storage acquisitions across the Eastern United States. Bernicker Law advised Eagle on legal matters, and Alvarez & Marsal provided business diligence.
The acquisition was announced September 10.
