Chimney Rock Equity Partners invested in Russell Equipment, a Twinsburg, Ohio-based provider of off-lease material-handling equipment, components and services. Founded by the Russell family in 1982, the company connects leasing companies and equipment owners with dealers.
It operates four U.S. locations and serves customers in more than 25 countries. Jeff Stone, who has led operations since 2021, remains president and CEO, while Mike Russell joins the board.
The partnership will support organic expansion and acquisitions. Stephens advised Chimney Rock, and Eide Bailly advised the seller.
