KPS Capital Partners, LP sells Metra to Grupa Kęty
The Italian aluminum extrusion manufacturer has nine plants and approximately 1,400 employees; closing is expected in the first quarter of 2027.
KPS Capital Partners agreed to sell Metra, an Italian manufacturer of extruded aluminum profiles, to Poland’s Grupa Kęty for €645 million. Closing is expected in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary conditions and approvals.
Metra operates nine manufacturing facilities with approximately 1,400 employees and serves rail, industrial and construction customers in Europe and North America. KPS acquired the business in July 2021 and completed five add-on acquisitions during its ownership, alongside investments in production capacity and services including machining, welding and assembly.
Grupa Kęty is a Warsaw-listed industrial group.
