Relation Insurance Services, a BayPine-backed insurance brokerage, acquired the assets of LaPlaca Insurance, Inc., an independent agency based in Chalfont, Pennsylvania. The transaction took effect June 30, 2026, and was announced September 25; financial terms were not disclosed.
LaPlaca offers business insurance, employee benefits and personal lines across the greater Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey areas. Relation said it welcomed Anne La Placa and her team, whose combined insurance experience totals 140 years.
