Yardmaster acquires Twin Oaks Landscape

Yardmaster, a commercial grounds management platform backed by Unity Partners, has acquired Twin Oaks Landscape of Ann Arbor, Michigan. The companies did not disclose financial terms.

Founded in 2001, Twin Oaks provides lawn and landscape maintenance to commercial and residential properties in southeast Michigan. Founder Chris Speen said the Employee Purpose Plan, which gives employees an ownership opportunity, helped convince him Yardmaster was the right acquirer.

Unity Partners vice president Brett Stoehr said Twin Oaks fits Yardmaster's strategy of building a Midwest commercial grounds management platform. Yardmaster CEO Mike Montenaro said the addition deepens its presence in southeast Michigan.
