TCV and NVIDIA invest in Higgsfield
San Francisco-based AI video and image platform Higgsfield extended its Series B with new money from growth investor TCV and chipmaker NVIDIA; terms were not disclosed.
Higgsfield said it extended its Series B financing with new investment from growth equity firm TCV and NVIDIA. The extension adds to the Series B that DST Global led in August, which also drew participation from Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Tribe Capital, AI Capital Partners, Smash Capital, GFT Ventures and Valor Capital.
The San Francisco company, which keeps operations in Kazakhstan through Astana Hub, said proceeds will fund product development, global infrastructure, hiring and go-to-market expansion. Higgsfield describes itself as the first AI unicorn from Kazakhstan and said it crossed $1 billion in annualized revenue in September, 18 months after launch.
TCV founding general partner Jay Hoag and general partner Neil Tolaney said the firm sees Higgsfield building an AI-native route for creators, brands and agencies to produce images and video. NVIDIA's Rev Lebaredian cited the two companies' work across hardware and software in turning compute into creative output. No financial terms were disclosed.
