Rubicon-backed Procede Software acquires RIMSS
Procede Software, a dealer management system provider backed by Rubicon Technology Partners, has acquired San Antonio-based RIMSS, which serves agriculture, construction and transportation dealers.
Procede Software, which sells enterprise dealer management systems to commercial vehicle dealers, said it acquired RIMSS (Responsive Information Management Systems and Services). RIMSS, founded in 1983 and based in San Antonio, provides dealer management software to agriculture, construction and transportation dealers and counts more than 200 dealer groups and 400 rooftops. Terms were not disclosed.
The deal is the first acquisition since Rubicon Technology Partners invested in Procede in January 2026. Procede CEO Larry Kettler said the purchase follows through on the company's commitment to reinvest in its products and the industries it serves, and pointed to shared values and Microsoft-based platforms at both companies.
Both platforms will continue to be supported and developed, and RIMSS customers will keep their existing software, contracts and support relationships, with the San Antonio team remaining in place. RIMSS CEO Tommy Jarrett said Procede would invest in its people and products without changing the company's core values.
