Investcorp joins consortium to acquire REDA Gulf Holding
Investcorp's Saudi Pre-IPO Growth Fund takes a significant minority stake in the Saudi fire-safety solutions group alongside AlTouq Group and Thara Future Investments.
Investcorp said it joined a consortium led by AlTouq Group and Thara Future Investments to acquire REDA Gulf Holding, the holding company of REDA Hazard Control, through its Saudi Pre-IPO Growth Fund. Investcorp described its position as a significant minority stake. No transaction value was disclosed.
Founded in Saudi Arabia in 1986, REDA Gulf Holding supplies, assembles, manufactures, installs and maintains fire protection, safety and security systems for industrial and other customers, and operates in 19 countries with over 1,700 engineers and technicians.
