Aterian-backed Outlook Group acquires ABX Pewaukee plant
Outlook Group, a Neenah, Wisconsin printed packaging provider owned by Aterian, has completed its purchase of ABX's Pewaukee facility, adding labels and conductive film printing.
Outlook Group, a portfolio company of Aterian Investment Partners, said it has completed the acquisition and integration of the Pewaukee, Wisconsin facility of ABX – Innovative Packaging Solutions. The plant's equipment, customer relationships and production staff are now part of Outlook Group, giving the company three Wisconsin locations.
The deal adds specialty label production, flexible packaging capacity and conductive film printing, including in-house ink formulation, for medical and electronic applications. CEO Clay Davis said the Pewaukee team's expertise in conductive film printing was the main reason for the transaction, and that staff have stayed on and the site has completed ISO 9001 recertification under new ownership.
Aterian Managing Director Ryan Miller said the acquisition was executed quickly and with the Pewaukee team involved from the start, and that the firm will keep supporting Outlook Group's growth organically and through further acquisitions. Terms were not disclosed.
