Investcorp has acquired Metra, a value-added IT distributor in the UAE that supplies AI, cybersecurity, data center, and computing solutions to over 6,500 channel partners including system integrators, resellers, retailers, and wholesalers across the GCC and MENA region.
In 2025, the family-owned company crossed $1 billion in revenue, with approximately 70% coming from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and maintains partnerships with around 40 global brands such as Cisco, Dell, HP, and Lenovo.
The transaction is the fourth investment by Investcorp’s Saudi Pre-IPO Growth Fund LP, which targets regionally rooted companies looking to scale toward a public listing.
