J.F. Lehman & Company-backed PURIS has acquired Amici Engineering Contractors, a Florida-based provider of underground water and utility infrastructure services.

Founded in 2019 and operating from Zephyrhills and Miami, Amici specializes in complex pipeline construction and horizontal directional drilling for potable water, wastewater, and stormwater systems statewide.

The transaction adds complementary self-perform capabilities in Florida to PURIS's national water infrastructure platform.

"We are thrilled to welcome the Amici team to the PURIS family," said Mick Fegan, Chief Executive Officer of PURIS.

Headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, PURIS provides trenchless pipe rehabilitation solutions, including cured-in-place pipe, pipe bursting, and HDPE lining, to municipal markets.
