Tegria adds CloudWave
The deal adds a security operations center and cloud hosting infrastructure focused on hospitals and health systems to Tegria's managed services portfolio.
Tegria, a healthcare services and solutions company backed by Altaris, has acquired CloudWave, a full-service cybersecurity, cloud hosting, and managed IT services provider built exclusively for healthcare organizations. The acquisition brings CloudWave’s security operations center expertise and hosting infrastructure into Tegria’s managed services portfolio serving community hospitals, health systems, and specialty providers.
CloudWave CEO Erik Littlejohn will become President of Tegria’s Enterprise Technical Solutions and will lead hosting, cybersecurity, data and analytics, and Tier 1 application support. "Healthcare organizations face unprecedented operational complexity and heightened cybersecurity risks," said Craig Mengert, Chief Executive Officer, Tegria.
The deal is Tegria’s first acquisition since Altaris acquired Tegria earlier this year.
