TMC acquires WBQ Design & Engineering
The Florida firm brings public transportation clients including FDOT, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise and Central Florida Expressway Authority.
Grovecourt Capital Partners-backed TMC acquired WBQ Design & Engineering, a Florida transportation engineering firm founded in 1994. WBQ serves public agencies including the Florida Department of Transportation, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise and Central Florida Expressway Authority.
TMC specializes in roadway and traffic design and land development planning for private clients and government agencies. WBQ co-founder and president Derek Burke said the combination would give its team access to the broader platform's resources.
