Industrial Service Group, a TJC portfolio company, acquired Visual Inspection Systems, a Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania-based provider of predictive maintenance and equipment reliability services. The transaction closed August 14 and was reported September 11.
VIS has operated for 40 years and serves customers across 14 industries in 48 states. Its capabilities include vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, infrared thermography, laser alignment, non-destructive testing, motor testing, oil analysis and leak audits.
Indianapolis-based ISG provides service, repair and distribution for critical rotating equipment, including valves, compressors, motors and pumps. Generational Group advised VIS on the sale.
