Antenna Research Associates adds Empower RF Systems
Adds high-power solid-state RF and microwave amplifier engineering in Inglewood, California and Syracuse, New York to ARA’s antenna and communications portfolio for defense, aerospace, space and national security customers.
Backed by OceanSound Partners, Antenna Research Associates has combined with Empower RF Systems, a developer of high-power solid-state RF and microwave amplifiers for defense and communications environments. The combination pairs ARA’s antenna and advanced communications capability with Empower RF’s amplifier engineering across electronic warfare, counter-unmanned aircraft systems, satellite communications, radar and threat simulation.
Empower RF operates primary design, assembly and testing facilities in Inglewood, California, with an engineering design center in Syracuse, New York, serving defense, aerospace, space and national security customers. ARA, founded in 1963 and headquartered in Laurel, Maryland, provides RF components, antenna assemblies and advanced communications subsystems for military and aerospace applications.
