Thoma Bravo-backed BlueMatrix to acquire Aiera
The acquisition combines research authoring, governance and AI distribution on a single governed stack for investment research consumed by AI systems.
Aiera, an AI-enabled financial research platform providing compliant, platform-agnostic access to proprietary financial content for capital markets and financial institutions, has agreed to be acquired by Thoma Bravo-backed BlueMatrix. BlueMatrix operates a research authoring and governed AI distribution network serving more than 1,000 financial institutions and over 7,000 analysts worldwide.
The companies intend to combine Aiera's technology with BlueMatrix's reach across broker research, expert insights, news, live events, transcripts and filings. "Institutional investors are building AI capabilities at a rapid pace, and demand for research they can license into those systems has never been stronger," said Adam Solomon, a Partner at Thoma Bravo.
