AtkinsRéalis acquires remaining stake in David Evans Enterprises for US$130 million
The engineering services firm completes its purchase of the remaining equity in the US infrastructure design firm, which it first acquired a 70% majority interest in during April 2025.
AtkinsRéalis Group said it has acquired the remaining equity interest in David Evans Enterprises for cash consideration of approximately US$130 million, making David Evans a wholly owned subsidiary. AtkinsRéalis had bought a 70% majority interest in April 2025 with an option to increase its ownership later.
David Evans is a professional services firm with offices in the Western United States, Mississippi, New York and Texas. It designs transportation, land development, energy, and water and environmental infrastructure projects and has staffing subsidiaries focused on staff augmentation and placement. The firm will keep its current brand and management structure.
AtkinsRéalis CEO Ian L. Edwards said the move reflects confidence in David Evans' people and client relationships and advances the company's U.S. growth platform. Byron Bright, president of AtkinsRéalis U.S., said the deal will let the company offer its full capabilities to U.S. clients across transportation, water, power and other infrastructure markets.
