Nearly Natural, LLC acquires Texas-based Modernized Pottery
A flexible U.S. manufacturing platform for 3D-printed, eco-friendly planters and home décor will support rapid product development and wider omnichannel distribution for the combined portfolio.
Modernized Pottery, a Texas-based designer and manufacturer of 3D-printed, eco-friendly planters, vases, and related home décor, was acquired by Nearly Natural, LLC, a brand of artificial plants, flowers, and trees. The transaction brings U.S.-based 3D-printing and domestic manufacturing to Nearly Natural, pairs the two product portfolios, and adds Modernized Pottery's flexible manufacturing platform for rapid product development, efficient production, and distinctive designs.
Nearly Natural plans to increase manufacturing capacity and extend distribution across direct-to-consumer, online marketplace, wholesale, and dropship channels. "Nearly Natural is the ideal partner for Modernized Pottery's next stage of growth," said Ricky Wade, Founder of Modernized Pottery.
Nearly Natural is backed by Centre Partners, a lower private equity firm investing across consumer, business services, and healthcare sectors.
