Seaga Manufacturing adds Three Square Market
The transaction follows an FTC consent order requiring 365 Retail Markets to divest the micro market technology provider as a condition of its acquisition of Cantaloupe.
Seaga Manufacturing, backed by Dominus Capital, acquired Three Square Market from 365 Retail Markets as a required divestiture under an FTC consent order.
Three Square Market supplies self-checkout kiosks and inventory management software used in workplaces, hospitals, and hotels.
The divestiture allowed 365 Retail’s $848 million acquisition of Cantaloupe to proceed, with the FTC concluding that the original deal would have concentrated the micromarket kiosk market and likely raised costs for consumers.
Dominus Capital backs Seaga Manufacturing as a platform investment in the vending and dispensing equipment industry.
