TJC LP sells Commercial Training Solutions to FlightSafety International
Adds simulator manufacturing and training locations across the U.S., U.K. and Thailand, including more than 300 full-flight simulators currently in operation worldwide.
Acron Technologies, a portfolio company of TJC LP, has signed a definitive agreement to sell its Commercial Training Solutions business, a commercial aviation training and simulation operation spanning pilot and driver training, to FlightSafety International. The training platform includes Training Systems, Training Services, Aviation Academy and Driver Training, with more than 850 training devices delivered over its history.
The sale is expected to close in Q4 2026 and lets Acron Technologies concentrate capital and engineering on its Aerospace Solutions and Defense & Rescue Technologies segments. "This agreement sharpens Acron Technologies around what we do best across the platform: the avionics, connectivity and flight data services that keep aircraft safe and connected, and the advanced image processing and analytics, assured position, navigation and timing, resilient connectivity and rescue technologies operators depend on when lives are on the line," said Alan Crawford, President and Chief Executive Officer, Acron Technologies.
RBC Capital Markets and Harris Williams acted as financial advisors to Acron Technologies, and Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as legal advisor.
