Artemis-backed Optikos acquired Omega Optical, a designer and manufacturer of precision optical filters, diffraction gratings, infrared optics and custom coatings. The acquisition combines two Artemis portfolio companies to expand Optikos' integrated optics and photonics platform across optical design, fabrication, coatings and system-level testing for aerospace, defense, life sciences and semiconductor customers.
