H.I.G. acquired the company in 2022 and completed four add-on acquisitions that extended its service capability and geographic reach across North America.
Founded in 1906, JT Thorpe delivers refractory, fireproofing, insulation, mechanical, and access solutions to more than 1,100 customers in a range of industrial end markets, with revenue exceeding $1 billion.
The transaction represents Truelink’s second platform investment in July 2026, following its acquisition of specialty ingredients manufacturer Lyons Magnus.
LLC and Harris Williams LLC served as co-lead financial advisors to JT Thorpe, and McDermott Will & Schulte acted as legal counsel to H.I.G. Capital and the company.
