Arradiance adds Lotus Applied Technology

Arradiance has acquired Lotus Applied Technology, a developer of spatial atomic layer deposition and high-speed thin-film deposition technologies.

The deal gives Arradiance access to Lotus AT's patented processes, which achieve precursor utilization rates above 95%, and serves end markets including semiconductor manufacturing, microelectronics, renewable energy, photonics, biotechnology, and industrial applications.

Arradiance is known for its research-grade ALD, plasma-enhanced ALD, and molecular layer deposition systems, with hundreds of its GEMStar and PRIME platform units deployed globally.

Lotus Applied Technology will continue under its existing brand as an Arradiance company, and the combined entity will maintain facilities on both U.S. coasts.

Lotus AT founder and President Eric Dickey recently passed away; the company provides equipment, foundry coating services, and specialized deposition chemistries.
