Accelerating demand for power infrastructure from data centers, utilities, and industrial electrification has drawn Madison River Capital into a platform investment in Nexus Power, a Salt Lake City-based designer and procurement specialist for high-specification power systems.
Nexus operates as ABB's exclusive manufacturer representative across 11 Western and Mid-Western states, a relationship spanning more than 20 years, and partners with Hitachi and approximately 20 other electrical equipment manufacturers to serve customers across government, utilities, data centers, mining, oil and gas, and semiconductor manufacturing.
Main Street Capital provided debt financing for the transaction.

The investment follows Madison River Capital's recent launch of Pro-Max, a Miami-based platform providing structural repair and roofing services to condominiums in Florida.
