ACR adds Ultra Green Packaging
The deal gives ACR access to a Mound, Minnesota-based maker of take-n-bake pizza trays, sushi trays and bakeware serving foodservice, grocery, and institutional channels.
Ultra Green Packaging, a designer and distributor of eco-friendly fiber-based packaging and rPET packaging lids, is now part of ACR (AmerCareRoyal, LLC). The purchase folds Ultra Green's molded fiber expertise into ACR's PrimeWare line of compostable and sustainable packaging, giving ACR deeper reach with grocery and retail customers.
"Ultra Green reflects the kind of business we seek out for ACR's platform: an established company with a strong niche and product portfolio," said Brendon Biddle, Managing Director at Oridian Capital Partners. Kristin Davidson, owner and president of Ultra Green, will remain actively involved after the close, alongside key managers. It is ACR's twelfth add-on.
