Duke Street sells Kent Pharmaceuticals to Phoenix Labs

Duke Street sold Kent Pharmaceuticals to Phoenix Labs, an Irish pharmaceutical company. Based in Ashford, Kent Pharmaceuticals distributes specialty and generic medicines across the UK and Ireland, including injectable products for NHS hospitals.
Duke Street acquired the business through a carve-out from DCC Healthcare in 2019. It subsequently supported new product launches, licensing agreements and acquisitions, including Dalkeith Labs.
Kent expanded into Ireland in 2020. The acquisition increases Phoenix Labs’ presence in the UK and combines complementary product portfolios. The sale was announced September 23.
