LongueVue-Backed Summit Acquires Dallas Research Institute
The single-site acquisition extends Pinnacle’s Dallas-Fort Worth network and metabolic-disease research capabilities.
Summit Clinical Research Solutions, a LongueVue Capital portfolio company, acquired Dallas Research Institute through its Pinnacle Clinical Research site network. DRI is a single-site clinical research business focused on metabolic and liver diseases, including MASH, MASLD and obesity.
It began in 2024 as a joint venture between the company and the late Stephen Harrison, a Summit and Pinnacle co-founder. Principal investigator Pedro Castillo will remain in place.
Pinnacle already operates two other Dallas-Fort Worth sites; the acquisition extends its presence in that market.
