Silversmith invests more than $100 million in Vantora
The enterprise AI venture builder, formerly UP.Labs, takes its first outside funding after launching 17 ventures.
Silversmith Capital Partners invested more than $100 million in Vantora, an enterprise AI venture builder formerly known as UP.Labs. Founded in 2022 by CEO John Kuolt, Vantora works with industrial companies to build businesses and software around operating problems.
Corporate partners invest in the ventures, become their initial customers and hold equity. Partners include Porsche, Alaska Airlines and J.B. Hunt.
The profitable company has launched 17 ventures and reported 79% year-over-year revenue growth. Its first outside funding will support new partnerships, AI and commercial hiring, and development of its COSMOS data product.
Three Silversmith representatives will join the board.
