Intelligent Technical Solutions recapitalizes Velocity IT in Texas expansion
Dallas-based managed IT services provider Velocity IT has been recapitalized by Intelligent Technical Solutions, a Tower Arch Capital portfolio company, alongside founder Kenny Riley.
Intelligent Technical Solutions, a portfolio company of Tower Arch Capital, has recently recapitalized Velocity IT in partnership with founder and CEO Kenny Riley. Velocity IT was founded in 2010 and provides managed IT services to small- and mid-size businesses from Dallas, Texas.
The partnership strengthens ITS's geographic footprint in Texas, and Velocity IT clients will continue to work with the same team as part of the ITS platform. ITS CEO Tom Andrulis said Texas is a targeted growth market for the company.
Since partnering with Tower Arch Capital in May 2022, ITS has acquired ten managed service and cyber security providers. Terms were not disclosed. Financing was provided by Deerpath Capital. Advisors for ITS included Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP and BDO USA LLP.
