Francisco Partners has closed its $650 million take-private of Weave, a healthcare software company.
The roughly C$2 billion deal gives Francisco Partners a payments platform that processes one in three Canadian transactions, while seller banks BMO and RBC will continue referring customers under long-term commercial agreements.
The heavy building materials software provider counts more than 14,000 plants in over 80 countries using its platform to digitize plant operations, optimize logistics, and drive real-time decisions.
The acquisition adds Harloff's storage cabinets, medical carts, and medication storage products for hospitals, surgery centers, and long-term care to the Francisco Partners-backed platform's clinical workflow portfolio.
Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Paris, the company serves more than 1,500 customers in financial services, telecommunications, energy, and other industries with an integrated DDI and DNS security platform.
Adds more than 400 customers and about 60 employees, bringing the combined payments infrastructure business to close to $700 billion in annual transaction volume.
