Pitchwise consortium buys 42% of Valencia CF at €1.25bn valuation
The US consortium, which includes the family offices of KKR's founders and Denver Broncos owner Penner Sports Group, is injecting €100m of new capital into the club.
A US investment consortium called Pitchwise Holdings has agreed to acquire a 42% stake in Valencia CF, in a deal that values the Spanish football club at €1.25bn and includes a €100m capital injection.
Pitchwise is led by Ann Rodriguez, a former WNBA chief operating officer, and Corey Woolfolk, a former footballer turned biotechnology investor. Its backers include the family offices of KKR co-founders Henry Kravis and George Roberts, plus Penner Sports Group, which owns the Denver Broncos and is controlled by Walmart chairman Greg Penner and his wife Carrie.
Valencia has been controlled by Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim for over a decade and has sought new shareholders since 2025. The valuation reflects debt tied to the planned 70,000-seat Nou Mestalla stadium, including €322m of financing arranged last year. The club has not played in European competition since 2019.
