H.I.G.-backed CHA Consulting acquires Power Delivery Consultants

CHA Consulting, Inc. has acquired Power Delivery Consultants, Inc. (PDC), a New York-based firm specializing in electric power transmission engineering and consulting. PDC's technical professionals will join CHA's Power Delivery & Integration team, and PDC will rebrand as CHA Consulting, Inc. effective immediately.

PDC's professionals have experience in AC and DC underground and submarine transmission systems, including extruded-dielectric and pipe-type cable technologies. CHA is a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, and the firm said the deal strengthens its national power delivery capabilities. CHA ranks as the 57th largest U.S. engineering firm by ENR, with 2,200 employees.
