Triton-backed Hanab acquires Substation Engineering Services
Stafford-based SES installs and commissions high-voltage substations across the UK, and joins Hanab's UK energy infrastructure platform.
The deal follows Hanab's earlier UK acquisitions of Green Frog Connect and AMS Trenchless. The value was not disclosed.
SES, based in Stafford near Birmingham, specialises in high-voltage substation installation and commissioning across the UK. Hanab said that combining SES with Green Frog Connect and Hanab Energy Solutions will let it support clients from engineering and project management through to installation, commissioning and maintenance.
SES will keep its name and operate with a high degree of autonomy, with its current management team remaining in charge of day-to-day operations. Hanab plans to expand further in the UK through organic growth and targeted acquisitions in energy, water and other critical infrastructure.
